If you use Firefox as your browser of choice, and you find a particularly annoying website, such as one which has pop-ups that you can't stop, there's another solution. Look in Firefox Extensions for one called Blocksite 0.7.1 and add it to Firefox. With that, you can add the offending website to a blacklist which means that site will be blocked from loading into your browser. You can also unblock it later if you wish.
