The street beside this has a couple of nasty depressions that fill up with water every rain, and they have not yet filled them up or paved them over - so you're right. The main road has bumps, while the former muddy pathway now has smooth blacktop. Somebody at City Hall must be a biker, and bless them for it.
At last, they've paved the bike path from Park Royal South into Ambleside Park, and soon it will also have its own street lights.
...and their own road bumps lol!
