Another day, another sunset -

The same as last evening, but without the clouds.

  1. Ha! Now we want a sun"rise", meaning you´d have to get up "early", haha!
Nah, you don´t have to do that, I was just joking...

    Your photos are beautiful.

Please don´t forget to check my site www.flickr.com/photos/mister-beep
I´m uploading something almost every day.

    Have a good weekend Ray!

  2. @ Monsieur Beep -

Please see above in the blog for your sunrises. These are from files of a couple of years back, and some didn't age well, so I've only shown those three.

Speaking of Flickr, I've noticed that the photos on there are quite small, and don't seem to enlarge when clicked on, like here in Blogger.

Have you ever tried Google's Picasa? For your free copy, just click this link for the download.

It can organize all your photos and also does basic editing of them, as well as sending them to others, if you wish. One feature of its editing that I find really handy, and it's something that other photo editing programs don't seem to have is a feature for straightening up an image that is tilted in its frame. It won't handle big changes, but it does a nice job if, for example, the horizon is running uphill or down,
and you'd like it level. That alone makes it very handy to have.
You might enjoy checking it out.

  3. ...thanks so much for the hint, Ray. The reason why you cant enlarge my photos on flickr is that I configured the options for public viewing as follows:
    1. downloading: not allowed
    2. enlarging: not allowed

These settings are to avoid someone downloading your photography, or using the files for other purposes.

Next flickr level is "friends". If you have flickr "friends" status, the a/m settings are disabled.

Aaaand on picasa: I´ve been using this useful programme, untilted some of my pictures (i/e I levelled the horizon).
    It does a good job.

    Have a good weekend!
