Monsieur Beep says.....

Monsieur Beep says that I should point this Pentax at the sky on a dark night and look for inhabited planets with this zoom lens it has. So this one's for you, Monsieur - so you can see what would happen. And this is after two kinds of noise filters have done their thing on it. Eolake is right - there's a certain point beyond which a zoom lens shouldn't go. Unless noise in the image isn't our greatest concern.

  1. So kind of you to dedicate this beautiful photo to me!
It´s really impressive. A very good shot. I should try to do the same with my finepix (Fujifilm), my everyday companion camera.

  2. I bought a new finepix because I had left behing my old finepix (not forgotten, but I had just taken my film cam, but I needed instant photos so I was forced to go digital on short notice). I purchased one for some 80 Euros, it´s amazing what these little things can do.

I´m in favour of cheap, low quality cams b/o the pictures they deliver: not sharp, not straight. but blurry and leaving a lot to imagination. See my flickr for examples.

Professional work requires higher standards, of course, or does it? How about the art of putting impressions into a 2dimensional frame?

Have a good day, Ray. Best wishes from Monsieur. (:-)
