The Toyota Museum -

While I was babbling on about cars in the previous posting, I left out a link to a nice site in Japan for the Toyota Museum. So here's where you can find it, and trust me, it's worth a look for sure.

For 1936, yes it is. And I think that Toyota is getting a bit too much bad publicity over those problems with gas pedals or brakes.

If drivers used their heads, those
things could be handled without wrecking the cars, and could be fixed
at the dealer's.

Yeah, you're right: I've been wondering if switching the ignition off would have done the trick.

But then a car driver ain't a pilot who trains all the time how to handle emergencies .

Maybe too many of us these days are expecting the car to be smarter than we are, and too often that's true!
