We're off to see......

Hawaii, perhaps? It's headed in the right direction, anyway, and it was too high to be planning a landing anywhere near Vancouver, that's for sure. This picture is at 24X optical zoom, so you know this was right up there.

My 'Question Everything' for today is: "Why does the starboard engine appear to be producing a wider stream of exhaust than the port engine is?" - "Is the autopilot mismanaging engine controls, or is there something wrong with the thrust-reverser retraction mechanism on the starboard engine, or is this just an optical illusion?" ( Is this an Airbus???)

  1. Ray, I guess you hadn't heard...This is very typical of an Airbus. That's why they always need to compensate by turning to the port at all times. You'll also notice that the tires on the starboard side wear out faster than those on the port. :-)

I often see planes flying overhead, wondering where they're going as well. Interesting thing about airports also, they're a very happy place and a very sad place at the same time. It depends on if you rejoining someone or leaving someone..

  2. I love flying, but it's awful hard on my arms....

After the recent mysterious crashes of Airbus planes, my formerly globe trotting sister has decided to hang up her headset and goggles and stay on the ground from now on.... or so she's saying at the moment. But we all know how the gals tend to change their minds, so you never know...
