In the paper the other day, they asked:


"When do you consider it the end of summer?" - Looking outside this morning, with the temperature 55 F, and it raining lightly, I'd have to say, "Right about now." We get weather this good in November and February. But we did have a really nice summer, so we can't complain.

  1. Ray, you made reference to 55 F. Do you use the Fahrenheit scale in B.C.?

    It's sounding better and better.

  2. I use the Fahrenheit scale, but officially we're on Celsius - but I was raised on the Fahrenheit one, so
    that's what I prefer. The U.S.A. is still on Fahrenheit too, and that's nice, because then there isn't a big change at the border....

    I still think of 4.54 litres as being a gallon, and I multiply kilometres by .622 to get miles.
    I am not natively metric.
