One of the best CDs there are.....

Linda, wherever you are, I could kiss your cute little posterior until you barked like a fox! In the words of Star Trek's Spock, "May you live long and prosper."

This is Linda in 1976, the year before the first Victoria's Secret store was opened and before she really needed to visit one. Like the man said, "It's what's 'Up Front' that really counts!" and Linda leaves very little to our imagination here. Linda obviously had a lot more going for her than just a world-class singing voice, and she wasn't afraid to prove it. Good on her!

  3. Oh Ray...

I loved your remark ("I could kiss your cute little posterior".) too... After perusing the photos of Linda which Tommy provided...I would say that Linda who is now 64 has gained a little weight in later years (Haven't we all}...

God bless my late wife who also gained some weight in her later years used to say..."There's more to hug, Darling"...

  4. It's just a damned shame that youth and beauty are wasted on the young,
when there's all those talented older folk who would appreciate it.

Linda, it seems, has been a victim of her own success, and has seen more meals than mealtimes lately.

Uncle Ron should get her address so he can send her a copy of his Uncle Ron's Healthy Eating Recipes and Flab-o-rama Diet Hints.

Incidentally, if you aren't too comfy with Google's latest Images
changes, and you have a Firefox browser, try 'Imagery' the image search program that works on Firefox. I can't show you a link just now, because it's too busy, but if you Google it later, you should get it OK. It shows results much like Google used to before they "improved" it beyond recognition. (If it ain't broke, don't fix it!)

  5. Well Ray I guess you have finally given me something to comment on. Also to show you I'm partially computer literate. Linda was always one of my favorite vocalist's.
She can aslo do the Spanish thing like Vicci Carr. Her Dad used to sing to her as a child and that's why She knows the old Standards. I first listened to her when she was a teenager and sang with the "Stone Ponies".PeterL
