Winter returns
Just when the flowers should be starting to show.... anyone still wondering about climate change? Kids used to be jumping into the outdoor swimming pools about now, instead of looking for their warm snuggies.
We had 4" of snow, a couple of days ago; an unusually "large" (lol! I know...I'm talking as someone who used to brave B.C. winters! It ain't much but it's quite a lot for here!) amount for here. And...it's just been pouring, for the past 24 hours, as well. I just want the sun to come out, soon!
I can remember having seen crocuses bust their way through a crust of snow but...I'm not so sure daffodils are as hearty! And...durn it...I think I missed taking some shots of a friend's beautiful dark violet crocuses; I had planned on going over, the other day! :-(
