And let's not forget Dixieland......

'Down By The Riverside'  is a great example of Dixieland. Reminds me of a theme bar that used to be on Yonge Street in Toronto, with four different rooms each themed after a certain concept, and one was a Dixieland jazz spot where the music was always hot and lively, and the gals were always cute, and the booze was always the best.

  2. May I only say that I've loved Dixieland ever since I discovered Al Hirt and Pete Fountain and good Bourbon and Branch Water over ice....
It sure beats the local Chicken-pluckers on fiddles and banjos, I must say. Check out Clarinet Marmalade or Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans sometime.
