Lovely flower garden....

This may be the most colorful front garden in North Vancouver, and up close, it's a real delight to see. There's flowers here that will almost take your breath away.

No wonder the bees are attracted - so am I. This is lovely.

And how about these? Aren't they wonderful?

  1. Very nice! Looks like you had a nice outing, today? :-) (I bet you'd LOVE to be dinging around in a flowerbed, on a regular basis, Ray! It always seems "sweeter" when it's a dude that appreciates flowers! :-)

  2. Hi, TC -

It's not just gals who can appreciate the beauty of a flower bed, and being a guy doesn't mean we have to look like King Kong and smell like an old
    sneaker..... although some do!

How's your weather down there? We're still getting one day of sun and two days of rain....

Yeah. Really nice. Wish there were more like you, Ray! :-) It's nice for anyone to take the time to stop and smell the roses (or even just admire them!) as often as possible! :-)

Yes...smelling good and appreciating "good smells" are...a good thing! :-)

Not overbearingly hot, thank goodness! Went for a drive, today, to visit local falls. Was 82 on the way and around 75 and beautifully sunny while we were there. LOVE being around water so...sure enjoyed that! :-P

Bummer! I'm hoping for an Indian Summer for the West Coast, Ray! Doesn't seem in the least bit unreasonable, at this rate! :-/

  4. @ TC -

Today (Aug. 1st) it's a nice day and there isn't s cloud in the sky at the moment. Maybe we will get some nice weather from now on. I hope so. If we ever are going to then the time is now. This is usually the time of year when we peel off the rain gear and change the long underwear to get ready for the next monsoon season in another few weeks....

LOVE no-cloud days; but..."puffy white" (or otherwise bright ones!) clouds sure can be quite interesting, as well! I love the contrast between the blue of a clear sky w/a forest of beautiful green. :-)

That would be nice. This year feels like such a rip but...considering the horrible weather and tragedies that have happened, throughout the country, in the past year, I'm just GLAD to see the sun and still live to write about it! :-/

Yes...SAD how SHORT our summers are, here, isn't it? But...when that old sun peaks out, it's a beautiful thing so...I'm going to enjoy it as MUCH as I am able and then, hope for that Indian Summer "Grand Finale!" :-D
