More Windows 8 -

Back in 'the good old days' when men were men and all the gals were naturally double-breasted, and computers were newer and more of a novelty, and we were so busy patting ourselves on the backs for being able to use one that we didn't get too critical of it if it gummed up or aggravated the hell out of us, there used to be lots of things we could change on our computer if we felt like tweaking it a little. Things like the system icons for example. That was something in XP I liked. And it's back, Folks.

Unfortunately, my favorite pair of wastebaskets still can't be substituted for the factory-equipment models, and that's a shame, because they're great looking and hold just as much useless junk as anyone else's. But you can still change other icons in there, like you own or the one for the system itself, or the network. And how do you find this vital bit of trivia, you ask? Easy. Just right-click on the Desktop, choose Personalize and in its window, look in the left column for 'Change desktop icons' and click on those words, and you're there.
