That car, by the way, was a 1937 Chevy, I think.... and product placements began a long, long time ago, Kiddies.... and so did Superman. Which reminds me of a story:
Little Johnny is in school, sitting at the back of the class, and amusing himself by playing with a couple of marble-sized steel ball bearings. This distracts the teacher, who asks the class "Who is that playing with steel balls?" After a moment of silence a voice from the back says "Superman!".
