Making Backups in Windows 8: Yes, you can...

I've been looking for various ways of backing up Windows 8, and surprisingly,
there's the same system we had in Windows 7 in it, but Microsoft doesn't make it obvious, nor do they tell you that using it for your present Windows 8 will work the same as it did for Windows 7.... but you can read the details here.

And if you search for "Recovery" in Windows 8, you'll see Windows 7 mentioned
in the list on the right. If you click on that, you are invited to create a backup,
like in Windows 7, and you can do it for Windows 8. If you're saving it to DVDs,
just make sure the first one is pre-formatted before you start. The rest don't have to be, I'm told, but the first is to make sure it all starts correctly because of a glitch in Windows 8... So you're probably safer to store it on an external drive instead of disks, but that's your call.
