Re-installed Windows today...

The re-install took a little over 40 minutes, but the time-consuming part is the replacement of all the lost updates, and it takes a good couple of hours to get those all back again and installed and then comfy with each other and working happily together.

"So why did you do all that?" you ask. Because I was using this program without first making sure that all my anti-virus was turned off, like they say in red letters on the program's window. Leaving the anti-virus running will do just like they say it might - it messes up the fixing up, and in this case, it did something to Internet Explorer which made it quit staying on screen unless run in Admin mode. And as we know, it's an integral part of Windows now, so you can't just download a fresh one and install it. If it gets busted like mine did, the only cure is to re-install Windows. The good news is, I'm getting better and better at it, and once again, I've got the freshest Windows around.

And this is what your boot screen looks like when you install Win-8 in the system partition of a dual boot drive. Obviously, I couldn't take a screenshot of this, so this is a photo of it, and that's why the variations in color tones.
