I prefer the #2 song of that year, sung here by Ruth Etting, who made it to #8 with it. It was Paul Whiteman's Orchestra that made it number two, and I've never really cared for his style. Too reminiscent of the oomp-pa-pa era of just pounding on things and imitating bull elephants in heat. Hardly music....and barely tolerable in most civilized neighborhoods. Here's Ruthie....
