Microsoft is still playing 'Catch-up'

Here's what I mean..... at their latest development conference, they announce:


and yet, for a year or so now, we've already had a very good free program that not only brought back the Start Menu, but gave us three choices of styles of it, along with many other nice tweaks and improvements - and here's the kicker:
Microsoft has known about this for a long time, because they made these people stop using a 'Windows flag' type round icon for the button, and forced them to switch it to the present shell format. So don't be baffled by their 'BS' here. And do check out Classic Shell. It's a nice program, and it works fine in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, which is basically Windows 8, SP-1, really.
