Time marches on, trampling everything underfoot...

Back in 1948, Israeli 'Freedom Fighters' kept their uniforms and weapons stashed in a closet at home, and listened to a radio station mounted on the back of a truck, kept moving from place to place to avoid capture by the British who were supposedly peacekeeping there. When the radio announced more action, they got into their uniforms, grabbed their weapons, and often jumped on a bus
in downtown Tel Aviv to get to where the fighting would be. They had two Piper Cubs out in the desert, with the doors removed, and in place of the back seat,
there was a spot for a couple of crates of hand grenades, which their pilots would toss out upon flying over a British patrol below. News reports, on that truck-mounted radio station, went something like this: "Today, elements of the Israeli Air Force again engaged the enemy, and all our aircraft returned safely."

Did I mention that was 66 years ago, and it's still in progress? And today's Question Everything is: "How do you define progress?"
