Young vs Old: Where they live...

World Population Day was today, July 11, and I almost missed it. Associated with it, there's been an interactive map created, and you can mouse over its countries for their names and the percentage of their populations under the age of 14. In the lower left of it, in the box, if you click on a certain percentage, it shows only those countries to which that applies. To visit the website hosting the map, please click on this link.

Here's a non-interactive smaller copy, to give you a look at it. The darker the colors, the larger the percentage of those under age 14. That darkest color is
for 48% or more. The website has other interactive charts and graphs as well, so if you go there, scroll down for those.



On the interactive map on the website, mouse over that black box 'How to use this' for a list of instructions. To return to the default (everything shows) click on the little 'Home' icon in the upper left corner.
