Why? Because: If I'm provoking that kind of reaction, it means you're really thinking about this, and that's the whole object of this exercise. Let's both think about it, and let's share those thoughts, and let's find answers, please!

I'm not quite myself today, Tom - you'll have to forgive me, please. I've just made a horrible discovery - technology really is passing me by, just like someone predicted 26 years ago. I've just discovered that they're using mirrors in California to focus sunlight on towers that boil water inside into steam for steam turbines to make electricity. And I haven't been paying attention to generating electricity since I retired from doing that in 1988. So I almost feel like an antique. Come to think of it, I AM!
