Colonizing Mars? Not Likely!

Let's review a few Martian facts, shall we?

.) Too far from the Sun for a habitable climate as we know it.
.) No breathable atmosphere, and very little of any other kind.
.) No readily available water for drinking, bathing, cooking, fishing, etc.
.) No arable land, because of all of the above.
.) No vegetation, and therefore no regeneration of an atmosphere.
.) Several months and many millions of dollars away from resupply or help.
.) No local supplies of food, medicine, spare parts, etc.
.) Nothing to do but watch the wind blow and rocks crack from the frost.
.) No scheduled shuttle service to and from Earth.
.) No psychiatric services when you realize you're crazy.
