So, What's it all about ? The Cosmos continues

If we were looking at a microcosm instead of a macrocosm, would we be better able to make sense of it? Would it look more organized if on a smaller scale? For example, could these 'galaxies' be like a body's cells, and that background of free 'stars' the plasma in between, in which those are suspended? Are we further down along the space/time continuum than we'd prefer to imagine? Does the definition of 'subatomic particles' merely depend for its accuracy upon whether we're part of the microcosm, or part of its macrocosm? And are there any 'markers' or signs by which we might get a clue? Fascinating problem, isn't it? Dare we hope to ever find the answers?
