And yesterday was...? - Patch Tuesday!

There are eight updates for Windows 7, ten for Windows 8, and nine for Windows 8.1 - and if you have all three of those operating systems on your computer, then it will take about an hour to get everything done, because each gets an update for its Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 which has to be installed separately, after you do the others, so that everything gets to its happy place, and you've done your Restarts to make sure.

And speaking of that .NET Framework, if you're using Microsoft Research's Image Composite Editor, you should probably go into Control Panel, to Programs and Features, and on the upper left, click on "Turn Windows features on or off" and just make sure that you've activated ".NET Framework 3.5, including 2.0" so that you've got the whole thing going when you need it. It's the first item on the list, so you can't miss it. Make sure there's a black square in the little box.
