Another Windows Theme...

For this one, I moved the images from its 'DesktopBackground' folder in Windows 8.1 over to here, so you can copy them if you wish. These are some of the more famous fighter aircraft from World War Two, in case you youngsters don't know that. The directions for making a Theme were shown here Tuesday.





And with all my Theme-making, here's what the Personalization folder looks like here in Windows 10 now...


...because it's nice to have a choice, or two or three or more, and it's fun.

  2. Yes, you're right! We hear a lot from the Brits about the Spitfire and The Battle of Britain, but what really turned the tide of the war was those long-range P-51 escorts for the bomber squadrons flying over Europe. The bombers were no longer "sitting ducks" and that made a big difference.
