Yesterday was Patch Tuesday...

Windows 8 got 30 of them....

Windows 10 got 4 of them...

And Windows 8.1 got an even dozen. With three systems on here, it takes time.
The one marked 'failed' was already installed. (Visual C++ 2012 Update 4)

Why all these operating systems? No reason - just lucky, I guess. But there's one advantage - if you can't get one to boot up, you have the option to use another, and that can be very handy sometimes. I've actually fixed one system by booting into another, and cleaning things up from there, and then being able to boot the first again. So there is a reason, after all. 

And let's not forget Windows 7... still a very popular system, and one of the best Microsoft ever made. If Windows 10 matches this one, it will be a winner for sure, and we're all hoping.
