I'm surprised it took this long for people to get wise to this pompous ass. He has been making a fool of himself for much too long already. And as I keep trying to point out, the whole world is watching this disgusting performance and wondering why.
It is a very unusual selection of candidates competing for their party's choice to run for President, especially among the Republicans. Very few seem to have what it takes to be President, and some of them are pitiful. On the other side, Democrats have a choice between two more experienced candidates, but both of them are old enough to be pensioners. It's an unusual situation.

I don't understand why so many of the candidates talk about
almost anything but the actual issues of the day. We can't
rate their ability at handling foreign policy or domestic
governing if they don't say what that is. It's like they are
awaiting further instructions from the Koch brothers, whose
main object seems to be the old "divide and conquer" trick.
And I don't agree that religion should have any part of these
proceedings. Politicians should remain neutral on religion because
they should be seen to treat everyone equally and fairly, and
that can't be done if they are seeking approval from the likes of
Jerry Falwell Jr., and his Liberty University crowd.
The founding fathers tried very hard to avoid religious leanings
while creating the Constitution, and we should believe they had
good and reasonable reasons for that. They would be appalled at
this present state of affairs, I bet.
