And once again, our government has a scandal-in-the-making developing on Parliament Hill. Our Search and Rescue needs rescuing. Not to mention us long-suffering taxpayers. We have seen the enemy and he is us, just like Pogo said yea those many long seasons ago.
OTTAWA—Canada’s search-and-rescue network is in desperate need of rescue itself, with aging planes, a shortage of military personnel and an information system at the “breaking point” all threatening the ability to respond to emergencies, a new report warns.
