If you put on your 3D glasses and look at this image, it clearly shows that the foreground and distance are covered with what appears to be crushed gravel with a size smaller than golf balls. Today's Question Everything therefore would have to be: "What created all that crushed rock and gravel and sand?" If you've read my earlier blog post about all this, then you know what I think did it.
I think it's very possible that Curiosity will find evidence among sedimentary rock formations of the building blocks that it seeks to prove that there was once the ingredients for life there, before that got stopped by the impact which left it
in its present condition.
