At Last - A Washable Keyboard....

At last, for the hazards of the real world, here's something we should all see, and something we've all been waiting for, I betcha.

The Washable Keyboard, from Logitech, and well worth forty bucks. They say it works with XP, Vista, and Windows 7, which also means Windows 8, because it is built on the Windows 7 framework. Now we can replace our 'dirty Qwertys'.

  1. I've always wanted to take a cheap keyboard and wash it in our dishwasher. After drying, will it work?

  2. @ Tommy -

If you've taken one apart, like a recent model Acer for example, they are built in a sandwich style, much like a TV Remote. There's a circuit
board assembly where connections are made or not by pressing down on the keys, and that might get ruined in a
    regular dishwasher.

But this washable one may be different, and it might possibly
survive that. They haven't mentioned a dishwasher though. So
you would need to take one apart to see how it's made I guess.
