Here we are, in ancient Egypt....

I was doing another rant on Facebook this morning earlier, and it was about this ivory headrest from King Tut's tomb, and as I Columbo'd my way along, I deduced that it wasn't originally Tut's, but his father's, Amenhotep IV, given to little Tut from an adoring father, which would explain the number "four" on each lion's side. In ancient Egypt, numerals one to nine were a series of vertical lines.
