Look above, for the icons of "AppData", "Pictures", and "Shortcuts" - my own, so that these stand out from the flock, because I use them a lot, and when I do, I want them right now, not later!
And that "Shortcuts" folder above contains all the desktop shortcuts that I don't want or have room for on the Desktop, but still want to keep handy. Neat! And "Dear Mighty Microsoft: Please Copy! This one's for you, Baby..."
