My birthday comes on Remembrance Day (your Veterans Day) and that's a hell of a poor day for a birthday celebration, so I like to pretend it really comes about the middle of July right in the heart of the bikini season.... bikinis being much nicer to look at than a bunch of old legionnaires wearing poppies and trying to remember how to march without tripping over their feet, especially those who have two left ones instead of one of each.
Keep your seams straight, your powder dry, and don't shoot the bartender because he's half-shot already!

But we do our hell-raising on July 1st, because it's a longer walk to the beach from here and we have to start sooner.
