An Election Review, from the stands....

This article in Toronto's Star says "You made the right choice, America." and I'd have to agree with that.

I've always mistrusted those coming from a background of wealth & privilege to tell us how we ought to be conducting our affairs, in case we're still young enough and desperate enough to be having such things. Seriously - just look at 'Dubya' as a classic example of a spoiled brat born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and a daddy that didn't pat him on the back often enough nor low enough down to do him any real good. That whole thing started two wars and put America so far in debt it's been ruining their future ever since. Did we really need another instant replay of something like that? Of course not! So Thank You, America, for learning something from history. And please remember, as your President has said, "We're all in this together!" Whether we live there, or are across the border in The Great White North, it's the same neighborhood.
