Those Internet aliases...

I almost said 'aliens', and in a sense, they are that too. Like this morning, on Engadget, which is found on 'News Bento' an App for Win-8 described as ....

...but I'm digressing again.... back to the weird names. Found one this morning in a piece on Engadget where some guy calls himself 'Moonlight Swami'. Couldn't help wondering if he's any relation to L'il Abner's 'Moonbeam McSwine'
that delicious, delectable, but not deodorized delight from Al Capp.

And as long as I'm babbling about Al Capp, I'm sure most of us older folk feel genuinely sorry for you younger ones who have never had the chance to enjoy the many hilarious and educational lessons taught to us by Al Capp in his famous comic strip L'il Abner. It made him rich and famous, and rightly so.
He gave millions of us something to smile about when there wasn't anything much available in the 'real world', bless his heart.
