Windows 8.1: Now on both my PCs

Just to show you that this is what Windows 8.1 looks like using the Ultimate Windows Tweaker to remove the arrows on the shortcuts, and add the Windows version and build numbers to the lower right corner, and also using 8gadgetpack to provide the gadgets I like. As you may recall, Microsoft removed gadgets from Windows 8 on the excuse that it was a security issue, but if you have a good antivirus or internet security program, it will be covering your gadgets just like everything else on your computer, won't it? Mine does. So does yours, so I fail to grasp what Microsoft was trying to prove. Maybe they just thought they'd make a change for the hell of it, but they overlooked the fact that many of us have come to love our favorite gadgets. And with 8gadgetpack we can still have them. And if you'd like even more customizing, you can try Classic Shell for a choice of Start Buttons and Start Menus on the Desktop, and many other useful changes collected from former versions. You don't have to be deprived of them
just because you have upgraded to Windows 8.1.
