Why you need one set of rules for everybody:
I know Americans tend to snicker at Canada's health system, but it works for us, and if you'd like more information on it, here's where to find it.
Briefly, here's how ours differs from yours.......
I was reading some of the costs in your USA Today article, and those seem quite high, compared to ours. My health care insurance premiums are paid for me by
my retirement plan, so I can't give you an exact number, but the total annual premiums amount to about $650.00, or roughly $55.00 monthly, and that coverage is for one single senior.
