"Those who refuse to learn from History..."

This is not progress, and while it's good to be open to working with Iran to find a solution to this, it isn't easy. And as they said on 'Real Time with Bill Maher' the other night, "What's wrong with minding our own business and letting them solve their problems?"

Obviously, the Iraqi forces aren't adequately trained or equipped, perhaps because we didn't want them getting too strong and possibly taking us on again. Neither do they seem to have the stomach for this kind of fight. But imposed solutions by outsiders haven't worked in the past, and aren't likely to now. Somehow, they have to reach a solution that they can live with, and they have to reach it themselves.
