Hi, Folks - I went to bed at ten p.m. and for the first time in years, I wasn't awakened by the thunderous fireworks at midnight.
And Yes, Uncle Ron, I did take that picture. Actually, it's two, put together with Microsoft Research Image Composite Editor. This was taken just after the big wind storm of December 15, 2006 which blew down trees all over town and put our power out for days. The waves lifted sections of concrete curbing along the seawall walk, which are about four feet long, and flung them across the walkway. You can see one askew near the bench at the bottom of the picture. But it is a nice shot of the bridge and the entrance to the harbor. I'm glad you liked it. I'll send you a copy without the writing....
Thanks Ray. And the same to you. We spent a quiet evening in front of the fireplace watching the movie, Maleficent.
ReplyDeleteHappy happy New Year to you and Tommy Ray...Love the photo you used ...I don't suppose you took it ...did you? Great shot...
