Even if you have eyes like a hawk, (and a beak to match!) your mouse cursor can be made a lot more visible by borrowing a little help from the Ease of Access section of Windows..... so open Control Panel, and look for that.....
Select and click on "Ease of Access Center" and then......
Look down the list for "Make the mouse easier to use"....and then, in that box of illustrated cursors, look over at the right for the "inverted" ones. Choose one of those. "Why?" you ask. Because: It's like a chameleon, and it changes colors depending on whatever it is passing over. For light backgrounds, it will turn dark, and for dark backgrounds it will turn light, and so it is always more easily seen than if it stayed one color. Try it - you just might like it. If not, you can always go back to the default standard issue.
