A 'Superzoom' camera in action....

The first two pictures are using zoom, somewhere above the limit of the 24X optical. I say "somewhere" because from there on up into the digital, it's very difficult to put an exact number to it, because the scale is compressed. The third picture is without zoom, and the numbers (1) and (2) show the spots where the
first two were located.

Click inside the picture to enlarge it for better viewing.  This isn't your old-time Kodak.

  1. Hey Ray, I was surprised the other day when my wife arrived with a Firefox plant. It's now in the fron yard..

  2. They can grow quite tall, and once they start blooming, it can last for quite a while during the summers.

They usually produce lots of seeds, and if you don't mind more than one,
those seeds can start a whole lot of them. Some are white, and some are a
fuchsia color, or violet. Quite pretty.
