I feel the same about Vista, Tom, but in a way, I'm thankful it came along, because all our bitching led to Windows 7, which turns out to be one of the greatest-ever Windows, and the backbone of Windows 8.
Just before the first beta of Windows 7 came out, I bought a new PC with Vista on it, and the minute I got my hands on the beta of Windows 7, I promptly installed it over the Vista, and kissed Vista goodbye forever. I have never been sorry. Even that first beta of Windows 7 was better than anything Vista offered, and I've been enjoying Windows 7 and Windows 8 ever since. Now, I'm looking forward to Windows 9.
