Call me old-fashioned or whatever, but I've tried Splenda, and other sucralose sweeteners, and Organic Coconut Sugar (great on your hot oatmeal cereal) and
Stevia liquid, and I still keep coming back to plain white sugar, because nothing else tastes quite the same in my morning coffee. And I really need that coffee!
My pick of the substitutes would be the organic coconut sugar, or the Stevia liquid. The first for my cereal, and the second for my coffee. They both do the job without leaving an aftertaste like some of those others. And while I'm on this subject, if your tap water leaves something to be desired, try three drops of Stevia liquid per glass, and see how that tastes. (Much better!)
