Just before sunrise, looking at Mount Seymour (no relation to Jane!)...
...and here's the local hills this morning, just before the sun reached them. This is looking at Crown Mountain, which is about three and one-half miles away. The picture was taken with a Nikon P510 using quite a lot of zoom. It can do 42X, but this wouldn't show enough of the field of view, so this is less than that.
