Israeli PM's visit....

Even before the official founding of the state of Israel on May 14, 1948, they were in conflict with their neighbors and in conflict with the British Imperial Army which was supposed to be keeping the peace in that region which was then a British Protectorate.

And Americans have been intimately involved in all of that since the beginning.
The first two aircraft in what eventually became the Israeli Air Force were a couple of Piper Cubs bought by friends in the USA, and shipped from New York City to Tel Aviv on a freighter. Those were assembled out in the desert, with the doors removed, so that a couple of crates of hand grenades in the back seat could easily be accessed by the pilot, so that he could toss those out at the British Army patrols below.

A truck-mounted and constantly relocated radio station broadcast news to their supporters in Tel Aviv and surroundings with news like this: "Today, elements of the Israeli Air Force engaged the enemy, and all our aircraft returned safely." The whole two of them! The first military tank they had was stolen from a compound of the British Army one night, and hidden by burying it in the sand up to its turret, which was used to shell British patrols. It was moved around to keep it from being recaptured. This sort of thing was going on even before the official formation of the Israeli state. And similar conflict with neighboring populations continues to this day.

Why isn't this loud-mouthed butt-smoocher back home trying to make peace with the Palestinians? American politicians have enough troubles already without this shit-disturber adding to them.
