Windows 10 - About Security...

Windows 10, like other editions before it, comes with Defender as anti-virus, but the experts tell us that almost any third-party security program would be better.
So just now, I did a little search using the term "best free antivirus for Windows" and of the several brands being rated, Bitdefender gets a better rating that either Avira or Avast, which have formerly been up near the top. What I'm slowly creeping up on here is that Bitdefender got the best ratings from tests done for PC Magazine. And even though it's hard to find (look down at the bottom of their website for it in the fine print) there is a free version that doesn't require your attention hardly at all, yet does a good job, they say. And will probably be better than Defender. So I've just installed it into Windows 10.
