I have made a lot of my own icons, using IcoFX, and collected others from the web. As you'll notice here, that unloved Recycle Bin icon has been replaced here with a nicer one, intended as an alternate for Windows 7. There are several sources for collections of free icons on the web, but make sure you scan them with a good anti-virus program before you open them, because we're told that the 'bad guys' use those as a favorite way to piggyback malware into your setup. Any Windows-compatible .ico icon files should work alright.
