This just in from Avast...

Hello,
Avast 2015 is not compatible with Windows 10. You can install Avast 2015 R2 release candidate from our forum: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=166883.0;topicseen
It's compatible with Win 10 Preview.

I had to tell Lukas that I already knew this, and I'm using Windows Defender with Malwarebytes Premium and Superantispyware, and these are working well together.

I really like the way Malwarebytes blocks incoming malware, and shows a pop-up to tell you, and shows you the IP Address where it came from, in case you want to blacklist it.

The one feature of Avast that I really like is its Boot Scan, which works during a reboot, while the active memory is unloaded. This is similar to Emco's MoveOnBoot, which moves, renames, or deletes files or folders during reboot, while active memory is not loaded, and it has access to the whole system.
Otherwise, I'm finding the latest Avast Internet Security has a lot of "bells and whistles" that I do not use. I've been disabling some of those, and yet I'm still paying for them. I can probably do just as well with one of the better freebies.
