They have an Autodetect program, which installs on your system, and then will look at it, and tell you if any updates are available, and then help you get them. I've just spent a half hour doing all that, and even though this computer is quite old now, it has the very latest graphics drivers from AMD...
I should probably add here that this isn't the original graphics card. I had this AMD Radeon HD5450 installed after getting the PC, so that it has its own memory on the card. The original didn't. This improves performance because the graphics don't have to use the same memory as your system programs, and can therefore respond faster and easier. And images taking more resources than text, for example, this frees up some regular memory for other tasks. So in effect, it's a bit like having a more modern computer which would come from the manufacturer this way.
There's tricks in all trades... and this probably explains why this old computer can still happily handle the latest Windows from Mighty Microsoft. Speaking of which, I should take another look at the Windows Technical Preview of Windows 10, in case they've fixed that problem which was giving me trouble installing its Build 10049. It's hard to be a tester if you can't get the test program to fully install. Rumors are flying that we'll have the finished version by sometime this summer, so hopefully, they're getting all the bugs out of it. I should take another look....
