One fall about ten years ago, it looked almost as if the building beside it was on fire. I took a picture like this one and had it enlarged and plasticized onto a sheet of plexi, and hung it on the wall. Unfortunately, it has now faded to a wishy-washy consistency and it isn't the same at all. But luckily for me, the tree itself still is. And whether it's a maple or not, it still looks lovely in the right light. Which is more than I do :)
Are you sure that's a Maple tree?...It looks like an overgrown Azaelea to me...hehe
