The Levant is part of the original Fertile Crescent....

And therefore a part of the Cradle of Civilization, and it belongs to its original established peoples, not to any recent mercenaries bent on terror and destruction. As far back as 1,500 B.C. in the Egyptian Book of the Dead, it says
"You shall not create confusion, terror, or strife among your fellow men and women, for this is against the will of God." And may Allah the Almighty and Merciful make this abundantly clear to all concerned.

And yes, I can read hieroglyphs such as those found in The Book of the Dead.
I have a 2-volume hieroglyphic dictionary showing their meanings, and there are over 600 variations of those pictographs. These should more probably be called 'ideographs' because some tell little stories all their own, rather than being 'words' as we understand that term. They can express complete concepts.
